Job Description
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services to a diverse portfolio of both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Head of Transfer Pricing join their growing team based in Larnaca. As the Head of Transfer Pricing, you will lead and develop our client’s Transfer Pricing services offering. As part of your role, you will identify opportunities for growth, expand the client base, and promote the Firm’s transfer pricing capabilities to existing and prospective clients. Our client is seeking applicants who hold hands-on experience in transfer pricing, preferably gained working for a professional services or advisory firm. Holders of, or those working towards the ACA, ACCA or ADIT qualifications are encouraged to apply. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the Firm’s Transfer Pricing Services offering.
- Developing the Transfer Pricing Services department, including identifying opportunities for growth, expanding the client base, and promoting the Firm’s transfer pricing capabilities to existing and prospective clients.
- Assisting with business development initiatives, including client meetings, proposals, presentations, networking and the preparation of marketing or technical material relating to transfer pricing services.
- Building and maintaining client relationships with a view to generating recurring transfer pricing and related tax advisory work.
- Preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation, including Cyprus Local Files, Simplified Transfer Pricing Files, and any other supporting transfer pricing analyses.
- Analysis of controlled transactions for Cyprus tax and transfer pricing purposes.
- Review of intra-group transactions, including financing transactions, services, royalties, IP-related transactions, and other related-party arrangements.
- Preparation and review of functional analyses, benchmarking studies, and transfer pricing methodologies.
- Communication with clients and service providers in relation to controlled transactions and transfer pricing documentation requirements.
- Liaison with members of the audit and tax teams for the analysis and confirmation of transfer pricing matters identified during audit or tax work.
- Coordination for the timely submission of Summary Information Tables (“SITs”), including review and submission in case this is required.
- Monitoring Cyprus transfer pricing developments, Cyprus Tax Department guidance, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and relevant international tax developments and preparing updates for the Tax Department and Audit Department.
- Leading correspondence, challenges, and objections with the Cyprus Tax Department where transfer pricing or related tax matters arise.
- Supporting the training and development of junior members of the Tax Department in transfer pricing matters.
- Any other work relating to the Tax Department which may be assigned by the Directors of the Firm.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ADIT) will be considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in transfer pricing, preferably within a professional services or advisory firm.
- Sound knowledge of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local (Cyprus) TP regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
