Job Description
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established global provider of integrated shipping, logistics and marine services, we are seeking to recruit an HR Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an HR Officer, you will support the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who possess approximately 1+ year of experience in a relevant HR-related position. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, with the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th and 14th salary, provident fund, Friday afternoon’s off, and flexible working hours.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR documentation, and personnel files in line with labour legislation.
- Provide one-on-one employee support when needed.
- Oversee compliance with labour laws, company procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Enhance employee engagement and retention through supportive HR practices.
- Assisting with recruitment processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Managing employee records and maintaining the HR database to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and departing employees.
- Coordinating training and development initiatives, including scheduling sessions and tracking employee participation.
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of HR communications, policies, and company updates.
- Handling general HR inquiries and directing employees to the appropriate resources.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 1+ year of experience in a relevant HR related position is a must.
- Sound understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with HR software or HRIS systems is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
