CARA has five strategically located stores in Limassol and Nicosia, including an exclusive multi-brand boutique at Parklane Resort & Spa and the first LOEWE and CELINE franchise boutique in Cyprus situated in The Retail Village at Nammos Limassol.

 

Role Overview:

The In-House Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills and a keen eye for detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation and process of the payroll, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Reconcile inventory by coordinating with the stock control department.
• Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus accounting and tax regulations.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• LCCI Higher or equivalent bookkeeping qualification.
• Experience in bookkeeping or an accounting role.
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax laws and VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Greek is required.

• Must be a resident of Limassol, Cyprus.
