Junior Compliance Analyst
Job Description
Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of a client, an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), is seeking to recruit a Junior Compliance Analyst to join their team at the Head Office in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will support the Compliance Department in ensuring adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional looking to develop a career in Compliance, Financial Crime Prevention, and Risk Management within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with AML/CFT transaction monitoring and transaction reviews
• Perform customer due diligence (CDD), KYC checks, and sanctions screening procedures
• Support suspicious activity investigations and internal reporting processes
• Maintain compliance records, files, and regulatory documentation
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist with policy and procedure updates
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for internal and regulatory requirements
• Support the Compliance Team in ensuring compliance with AML/CFT legislation, regulatory obligations, and internal policies and procedures
• Assist with ongoing compliance monitoring activities and controls
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Criminology, Risk Management, or a related field
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience in Compliance, AML, Banking, Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services will be considered an advantage but is not essential
