Job Description

Olympia Ocean Carriers Ltd, an established international shipping group based in Limassol, is seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Officer to join its team and support the day-to-day I.T. operations of the Group.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

·         Providing first-line I.T. support to end users and resolving day-to-day technical issues.

·         Liaising with the Company's external I.T. providers and coordinating support requests.

·         Installing, configuring and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers, servers, cloud and other I.T. equipment.

·         Assisting with the maintenance of the Company's network infrastructure, hardware and software.

·         Performing software installations, updates and operating system upgrades.

·         Monitoring the Company's I.T. infrastructure and escalating issues where required.

·         Maintaining the Company's I.T. asset register and support documentation.

·         Supporting user account administration, onboarding and offboarding.

·         Assisting with GDPR, cyber security and information security procedures.

·         Supporting I.T. projects and other ad-hoc assignments as required by Management.

Requirements

·         University degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

·         Previous experience in an I.T. support role will be considered an advantage.

·         Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and computer hardware.

·         Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

·         Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

·         Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
