Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational and play-based activities for children aged 1–4.
Promote social and emotional development, including sharing, cooperation, independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Observe children's development and adapt activities according to their individual needs, abilities, and interests.
Care & Wellbeing
Provide a safe, caring, nurturing, and welcoming environment for all children.
Supervise children carefully throughout the school day, including during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, rest periods, and transitions.
Support children's daily routines, including eating, toileting, handwashing, dressing, and rest, according to their age and level of independence.
Encourage healthy habits, good hygiene, independence, and appropriate behaviour.
Follow all school procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety, hygiene, and child protection.
Classroom Management
Prepare and maintain an organised, attractive, clean, and child-friendly classroom.
Ensure toys, learning materials, and equipment are safe, appropriate, and properly maintained.
Establish consistent daily routines that help children feel secure and understand expectations.
