Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries & Consultants Ltd, on behalf of a client, a highly respected boutique law firm, is seeking to recruit a motivated and proactive Litigation Lawyer to join their professional team in Nicosia.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting thorough legal research and analysis in preparation for hearings, trials, and other court proceedings
Drafting and reviewing pleadings, legal opinions, witness statements, and court documents
Advising clients independently on the merits of their cases, litigation strategy, and prospects of success
Supporting senior lawyers in the preparation and conduct of court appearances
Liaising professionally and confidently with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other third parties
Maintaining regular, proactive communication with clients regarding the progress and developments of their matters
Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law, and procedural developments affecting the practice area
Requirements
A law degree (LLB or equivalent); a relevant postgraduate qualification (LLM) would be an advantage
Qualified Advocate and member of the Cyprus Bar Association
3 - 5 years' post-qualification experience in litigation
Experience in legal drafting, legal research, and court advocacy
Sound knowledge of Cyprus civil procedure and litigation practices
Experience with court hearings
Strong analytical thinking with close attention to detail
A high level of responsibility, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Computer literate, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
Remuneration & Benefits
A competitive and attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience, including:
Annual Gross Salary in the range of €23,000 – €30,000
Discretionary Annual Bonus Scheme

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 18:00 (including a 1.5–hour lunch break)
