Our client, a leading distribution and logistics organisation in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an experienced and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee its warehousing, inventory, and distribution operations. The successful candidate, leading a team of approximately 50 people, will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the logistics function, while driving operational performance, developing the team, and supporting the company's continued growth and service excellence. Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee warehouse, transportation, and distribution operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.
Drive operational performance through KPI monitoring, continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimisation initiatives.
Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control, WMS utilisation, and data-driven decision-making.
Oversee inbound logistics from ports and suppliers through to warehouse operations.
Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Manage logistics budgets and operational costs in collaboration with the Finance function.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and service levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain management.
Fluency in both Greek and English.
Strong experience with WMS and ERP systems.
Good knowledge of TMS, BI tools, and advanced Excel.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, KPIs, and cost control.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Proactive, results-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset.
What They Offer
Competitive salary of €40,000 – €50,000 gross per annum (13 instalments), depending on experience and qualifications.
