Position: Manager/Senior Manager | Assurance - Accounting & Reporting
Our Assurance - Accounting & Reporting team is looking to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional at the level of Manager/Senior Manager, in our Nicosia and Limassol offices.

The Team
Our Accounting & Reporting - Complex Accounting team of experts is one of the leading practices in Cyprus. The team consists of professionals with diverse skillsets and deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Public Sector Accounting Standards, and it is hence uniquely positioned to provide the confidence business leaders seek amidst a business landscape characterised by complexity and change. At the same time, the team provides expert technical consultations to audit teams in Cyprus in relation to IFRS matters. We are looking to recruit individuals to support both the delivery of external assurance engagements and the internal provision of IFRS and IPSAS expertise.
The Role
The successful candidates’ key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support and participate in IFRS and IPSAS implementation projects for clients
Assist with the provision of ad-hoc technical advice and external consultations
Contribute to the delivery of implementation projects and resolution of IFRS and IPSAS technical issues
Assist Deloitte’s external audit teams on IFRS review engagements in the context of audit work for large clients
Follow up on developments and external publications relating to IFRS and IPSAS
Support the delivery of training and knowledge transfer programs in subjects relating to IFRS and IPSAS
Requirements
Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in any field
Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA. Holding of CertIPSAS will be considered an advantage
Strong IFRS knowledge. Knowledge of IFRS 9 and IPSAS will be considered an advantage
At least 5 years of experience in a reputable professional services firm
Strong business and commercial awareness
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong computer literacy. Advanced use of MS Tools Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Greek or Arabic language will be considered an advantage.
