Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring smooth hotel operations during morning & night hours.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures during the night.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform the closing of the day (end-of-day/night audit) to balance and finalize all financial transactions.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports for management.
- Monitor hotel security systems and conduct regular safety checks of the premises.
- Ensure that all front desk operations and systems are updated before the next shift.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Adhere to hotel policies, health & safety standards, and emergency procedures.
Work Schedule:
- 5 night shifts
- 2 days off rotated per week (5-day work schedule)
Requirements:
- Previous experience in front office or customer service roles (hospitality preferred).
- Strong understanding of night audit and end-of-day closing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and accurate with financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera ).
- Fluent in English & Greek. Additional languages will be considered as an advantage.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
