The PMO Role

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Support end-to-end project delivery across the project lifecycle by coordinating day-to-day activities and maintaining project plans, schedules, workflows, and trackers, while breaking work into manageable tasks with clear timelines and goals.

·         Gather, organize, and maintain project documentation and requirements (e.g., user/client requirements and relevant case studies) and share updates with relevant stakeholders.

·         Coordinate project governance activities, including scheduling meetings, documenting decisions, and tracking actions/next steps to closure.

·         Monitor, measure, and analyze project performance, proactively identifying risks/issues and supporting mitigation/escalation to keep delivery on track, while translating metrics into actionable insights.

·         Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements and standards.

·         Track project expenses and support forecasting of future costs.

·         Maintain portfolio management databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.

·         Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including with international/remote colleagues.

·         Provide general administrative/operational support.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

·         2–4 years of relevant experience in an executive assistant, project coordinator/project management, or administrative support role.

·         Self-motivated, with strong ownership and accountability, and a focus on high-quality delivery.

·         Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·         Strong business and commercial awareness.

·         Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.

·         Excellent organizational and planning skills.

·         High standards of integrity and professionalism.

·         Strong multitasking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

·         Fluency in English (written and spoken). Arabic is a plus.
