Combijet Manufacturing Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and exporter of high pressure water jetting & blasting equipment, reverse osmosis and robotic system – with a global presence in the marine and industrial sectors.

Role Overview

As a Purchasing Specialist in our manufacturing facility, this position is the backbone of our supply chain. In summary, the person will be responsible for ensuring that all components—from bulk materials to small precision components—are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time to meet our production schedules. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, sharp negotiation skills, and meticulous administrative coordination between our suppliers, accounting, and shipping departments.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Processing purchase orders, including issuing of POs to suppliers in accordance with purchasing system
• Following up of purchase orders, for ensuring effective and timely supply of purchases
• Communicating and maintaining relationships with suppliers, to ensure cost and time effective purchases
• Coordinating with inventory personnel to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained for production flow
• Coordinating with production for technical purchasing matters.
• Coordination with the logistics department for freight and import related matters
• Coordination with the accounting department for effective and prompt payments to suppliers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in purchasing or supply-chain role. Technical aptitude or engineering background is desirable and would be a plus.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English (written and oral) is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office and experience with accounting or ERP software (e.g., SAP or similar platforms).
