Job Description
The Quality Risk Management – Tax & Legal Team of Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus is seeking to recruit a Risk Specialist at Assistant Manager/Manager level. This is a 7-month fixed-term position, with the potential to become permanent.

The Risk Specialist Role
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Risk Manager in managing day-to-day operational tasks related to the risk management program in Middle East Tax.
· Support the Risk Manager in implementing and updating risk management policies.
· Participate in risk management reviews of offices and projects.
· Prepare alerts and other communications on risk management matters.
· Coordinate training sessions on risk management.
· Provide consultations on risk management issues to tax professionals.
· Monitor compliance with laws and regulations in the Middle East.
· Run other elements of the risk management program as required.
Requirements:
· Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Management, Business, or Risk Management. Postgraduate degree or any relevant professional qualification is considered an advantage.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience within a Big Four accountancy firm, preferably in the tax department. Candidates with 4–5 years of relevant risk management experience may also be considered.
· Experience in risk management roles or projects within a Big Four accountancy firm is considered an advantage.
· Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
