Key Responsibilities
· Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
· Respond promptly and effectively to customer enquiries and requirements.
· Visit customers and communicate through various channels to strengthen business relationships.
· Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and principals' portfolios.
· Follow company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and corporate values in all daily activities.
· Process and approve customer orders through the ERP system while ensuring customer records are accurately updated.
· Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications using the company's reporting systems.
· Collaborate closely with colleagues and the Operations team to ensure efficient service delivery.
· Provide regular sales updates, market feedback, and customer insights to management and principals.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional sales support and service.
· Work with management to establish sales targets and budgets, and provide regular performance reports and sales forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Shipping, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Previous experience in a sales role or working within a sales team.
· Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
· Strong interpersonal skills with a confident and proactive approach.
· Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
· Ability to prepare and deliver professional reports and product/service presentations.
· Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to different personalities in a multicultural business environment.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
