CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a medium-sized Audit & Accounting Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Semi-Senior Auditor to join their growing team. As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally working towards a professional accounting qualification, who possess proven experience working in the audit department of an audit or accounting firm. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, and provident fund. Working hours are from 08:00 – 16:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for a portfolio of clients across various industries, in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS.
Identify audit risks and propose appropriate audit procedures.
Supervise and guide junior team members.
Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
Ensure compliance with internal audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with other assurance and advisory projects where required.
Key Skills/Experience:
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Previous audit experience within an accounting or audit firm.
Basic understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting standards.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional development.
