Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Maintain and oversee the company’s accounting records and financial transactions.

·       Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly management reports.

·       Prepare and submit various tax returns (i.e IR7, IR614, IR1)

·       Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance requirements.

·       Manage payroll processing and related statutory obligations.

·       Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

·       Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

·       Generate and present detailed reports using Microsoft Excel.

·       Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

·       Monitor cash flow and support financial decision-making.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or semi qualified ACCA or LCCI Higher.

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.

·       Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and payroll administration.

·       Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Cycom Sophia.

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and reporting tools.

·       Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·       Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
