CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an independent advisory, accounting, and corporate services firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services. As part of your role, you will prepare and review financial statements, including supporting the preparation of group/consolidated financial information, and intercompany reconciliations and adjustments. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally ACA or ACCA qualified (or at least at the final stages of the qualification) who possess 4+ years of experience preferably gained working in a professional or corporate services environment. Exposure to group structures and consolidation processes is essential, along with a good understanding of IFRS, or similar reporting frameworks. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting services.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts.
• Support the preparation of group/consolidated financial information, including intercompany reconciliations and adjustments.
• Analyse accounting data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Liaise with clients on financial information and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and support external audit processes.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal procedures.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ACA/ACCA qualified or in the final stages of achieving the qualification.
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a professional or corporate services environment.
• Exposure to group structures and consolidation processes is a must.
• Good understanding of IFRS or similar reporting frameworks.
• Experience working with international clients is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Good communication skills, including client interaction.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach.
