Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax-related services to both local and international companies, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Auditor, you will plan, execute, and complete audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with IFRS and ISA. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally full members of a recognised accounting body (ACA/ACCA), or at least at the final stages of obtaining the qualification, who possess 3+ years of proven experience in the audit field. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements in accordance with ISA and local regulations.
• Perform risk assessments, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements.
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and detailed audit reports.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background in a relevant field of studies is desirable.
• ACCA/ACA qualification or at the final stage of ACCA studies.
• 3+ years of audit experience in a professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS/GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
