Job Description

The University of Nicosia Medical School, is currently in need of Simulated Patients, between the ages of 18 – 75 years of age, with excellent command of the English language. 

What will you do?

You will enact specific roles of patients with different clinical problems (e.g., asthma, back ache, heart problems, etc.) and you will be trained to give direct feedback to medical students on their performance, in a constructive, specific and balanced manner.

Selection Process:

Step 1: Complete and submit your application form the latest by Monday, 7th of September 2026. The application form can be downloaded by clicking here.

Step 2: Following the submission of your application form, it will be reviewed and upon successful selection you will be invited to attend a 3-hour training session. Successful applicants will be invited to attend the training which will take place late September/early October

Step 3: During the training session you will learn how the clinical communication sessions are taught as well as how to give feedback to students. You will be provided with written patient scenarios; you will be observed performing these scenarios and you will be evaluated based on your performance. 

Step 4: Upon successful completion of the training, and having passed the selection process you will be offered a Service Level Agreement with the University of Nicosia Medical School, if you decide to accept the position.

Step 5: Once you join our team you will be invited to participate in different sessions and Assessments throughout the Academic Year on an ad-hoc basis, based on our demands and your availability.
