To receive and inspect all incoming goods in accordance with the approved purchase order upon receipt. Receiving inspection shall be coordinated with the Head of Department or other personnel as deemed necessary.
To inspect products against Purchase Document requirements including (as applicable):
Correct product, quality
Correctly identified (e.g. model markings, etc).
Correct quantity and price
Any other special requirement
To arrange for the storage of all incoming goods in appropriate storage places.
To refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable or incorrect items and inform accordingly the Purchasing Manager.
To pay attention to discrepancies between quoted and delivered price and inform accordingly the Purchasing Manager.
To monitor the expiry date of the store items and inform accordingly the Purchase Manager.
To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of goods.
To post invoices into inventory system after reconciling it to the purchase order and delivery note.
To identify slow moving items to avoid over purchasing.
Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs.
Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
Post invoices using computer programs.
Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels.
Reconcile invoices and receive reports to ensure count accuracy.
Receive, unload, and process deliveries.
Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process.
Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent.
2+ years’ prior experience in the Hospitality Industry in 4- or 5-star Hotels in the same or similar position
Experience with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
Excellent Knowledge of Greek and English Language
Excellent Communication Skills
Must be organized and punctual
Physically agile and able to stand for extended periods
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Good knowledge of Microsoft office and Purchasing software (Material)
