Job Description

Responsibilities:

This job position has the following responsibilities and duties:

• Assist tax managers and senior associates in providing direct tax advisory and consultation services
• Support the development and implementation of effective tax strategies
• Conduct research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities and mitigate tax risks
• Prepare and review various tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, trust)
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of assigned tax filings
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to help maintain compliance
• Support client relationships by delivering responsive, high-quality service
• Address client tax concerns and help communicate complex tax concepts clearly
• Collaborate with team members to meet client expectations and firm goals
• Maintain organised documentation and workpapers for client engagements
• Participate in internal training and professional development initiatives
• Follow firm policies, procedures, and standards of practice
• Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have the following skills, education, and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Prior experience in tax preparation and compliance is preferred
• Foundational knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
