TRAINEE LAWYER
Job Description
GEORGIOS DIOGENOUS & ASSOCIATES LLC, a law firm based in Limassol, is seeking motivated and ambitious Trainee Lawyers to join its legal team.
Required Qualifications
• A university degree in Law, awarded with a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken. Knowledge of an additional language will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using legal databases and resources, including CyLaw, LexisNexis, Westlaw and legal textbooks.
• Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational, analytical, research and communication skills.
• Integrity, professionalism, discretion and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• A proactive approach, attention to detail and a genuine interest in developing a successful legal career.
Additional Qualifications
• A postgraduate degree in Law, the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) will be considered an advantage.
• Previous internship or other relevant legal experience will also be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, correspondence, pleadings and other case-related materials.
• Conducting legal research and preparing relevant summaries and reports.
• Assisting lawyers with the preparation, organisation and management of cases.
• Attending court proceedings under the supervision and guidance of a senior lawyer.
• Providing general support in relation to the firm’s legal and administrative work.
