The position:We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is seeking a career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to become a member of our professional team. We are seeking to recruit an Accountant for the Finance Department.&nbsp;&nbsp;Key Duties / Responsibilities:<ul><li>Accurately record and maintain accounting entries using the company's accounting software</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliations of accounts with external and internal creditors, as well as customers</li><li>Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT, INTRASTAT, and VIES declarations</li><li>Prepare and verify invoices, payments, and financial documentation to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner</li><li>Monitor and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections</li><li>Provide administrative and financial support to different departments within the company as required</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders during audits, inspections, and other day to day requirements</li><li>Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or in any other relevant field</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek</li><li>Very Good Knowledge of MS Office, emphasis in Excel and Outlook</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations</li><li>Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines</li><li>Dynamic, proactive, and team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism</li></ul>&nbsp;An attractive remuneration package will be offered based on qualifications and experience.All interested applicants should send their CV by 27/02/2025 to the following email:&nbsp;<a href="mailto:recruitment@hadjipanayis.com.cy">recruitment@hadjipanayis.com.cy</a>Quoting reference: VHPACCAll applications received will be treated in the strictest confidentiality.Only successful candidates will be contacted.
