Job Role Responsible for attending to guests and dealing with inquiries and special requests &nbsp; Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Assists with the checking in of guests as per existing Front Office policies and regulations.</li><li>Answers the telephone, screens and directs calls</li><li>Takes and relays messages to guests correctly and promptly</li><li>Provides requested information to callers</li><li>Greets people entering the hotel</li><li>Directs guests or any other visitors to the correct department</li><li>Deals with queries from both the public and hotel guests</li><li>Performs general administrative and clerical support</li><li>Receives and sorts mail and deliveries</li><li>Schedules any necessary appointments</li><li>Ensures that Reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times</li><li>Notifies the porter to transfer guests’ luggage to their assigned rooms</li><li>Assists in guests’ check-out and knows how to settle guests’ accounts either by cash or credit card</li><li>Informs guests of hotel and general information regarding restaurants etc</li><li>Offers wake up services, orders taxi transfers as and when required.</li><li>Able to operate the telephone call center</li><li>Adhere to Hotel’s standards, policies and procedures and to have a complete understanding of the policies; including Fire, Hygiene, Health &amp; Safety</li><li>Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law</li><li>Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Front Office Manager</li></ul> &nbsp; Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience as a Receptionist at a 5* Hotel</li><li>Excellent knowledge of English.&nbsp; Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage</li><li>Pleasant, honest and friendly personality</li><li>Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure</li><li>Computer Literate</li><li>Commitment to learning &amp; self-development</li><li>Promotes cooperation &amp; commitment within a team</li><li>The ability to cope under pressure</li><li>Problem-solving ability, to resolve issues as they arise</li><li>Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints</li><li>Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the right to work in Cyprus</li></ul>&nbsp; What we offer<ul><li>Attractive remuneration package&nbsp;</li><li>Provident Fund&nbsp;</li><li>Staff discounts at Hotels &amp; Kult Boutiques</li><li>Free meals on duty</li><li>Employee Appreciation Program and Reward Scheme</li><li>Great work-life balance</li><li>Comprehensive new staff induction programmes</li><li>Group-wide professional development opportunities across countries and properties</li><li>Continuous training opportunities&nbsp;</li></ul>Please apply trought the following link:<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://people.thanoshotels.com/job-list/amyth-of-nicosia/receptionist">Receptionist at Amyth of Nicosia - Thanos Hotels &amp; Resorts - WebHR360</a>
