About PGE&Co

Our Accounting department is expanding, and we are seeking to recruit dynamic professionals to join us in our Limassol office.

The Vacancy

<ul><li>Work alongside with senior members of the team on a broad range of challenging clients, spanning from large groups to small business owners</li><li>Record the transactions of our clients on our in-house accounting software or on clients' own software</li><li>Communicate directly with clients to ascertain business needs and ensure accurate reflection of their business affairs</li><li>Maintain proper books and records for our clients, preserving high quality standards</li><li>Perform reconciliations of bank, brokers', cash and other similar accounts</li><li>Liaise with customers and suppliers of our clients, ensuring agreement of balances</li><li>Perform detailed calculations and recording of loan and other similar agreements</li><li>Assist our senior accountants in undertaking the Payroll function of our clients</li><li>Complete and submit various Tax, Vat and other similar forms</li><li>Undertake registrations with the relevant government authorities</li><li>Liaise with the Cyprus Tax Department to handle Tax and Vat matters of allocated client portfolio</li><li>Effective collaboration with other parts of our firm such as Audit, Tax, Compliance</li><li>Keep up to date with current developments in the fields of accounting and taxation and apply knowledge to relevant client cases</li><li>Understand and analyse technical client issues and undertake effective research towards providing tailor-made efficient solutions</li></ul>

Duties and Responsibilities

<ul><li>Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields</li><li>Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification would be considered an advantage</li><li>Up to two (2) years of relevant experience in a bookkeeping of similar professional services department</li><li>Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>Team player attitude, a creative thinker and fast learner</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Great organisational skills</li><li>Detail oriented and conscientious approach</li></ul>
