The Classic Hotel, rated among the 25 biggest employers in Cyprus, is located in the heart of the city and has recently been redesigned to blend perfectly with its environment.&nbsp;We are currently seeking to recruit a Receptionist to join our team for full-time employment.&nbsp;Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Check In-Out of hotel guests</li><li>Escort VIPs to their assigned rooms</li><li>Coordinate with Chambermaids for timely cleaning of rooms</li><li>Process booking in THEOVA (knowledge of THEOVA is an advantage)</li><li>Cash handling and booking payments</li><li>Ensuring that all customer-related tasks are handled accurately and on time to improve guests' experience</li><li>Handling customer complaints and special requests</li><li>Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the reception area</li><li>Preparing reports on customer feedback, bookings, and cancellations</li><li>Updating files and records</li><li>Enforcing all cash-handling, checking, and credit procedures</li><li>Ensuring good communication between all departments and the front office to better serve our guests</li><li>Successfully managing stress, anxiety, and pressure associated with tight deadlines, heavy workload, and hotel emergency situations</li><li>Anticipating the needs of guests; displaying an open, friendly, courteous, and approachable demeanor to guests; proactively engaging guests to provide quality service; maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward guest service</li><li>Clearly and effectively expressing ideas, facts, and messages verbally to others</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Good knowledge of Greek and English language obligatory</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Degree in hospitality or business administration will be an advantage</li><li>Previous experience in a similar role</li><li>Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently</li><li>Guest-oriented and service-minded</li><li>Proficiency in English and Greek (oral and written)</li><li>Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word</li><li>Knowledge of Theova and other similar PMS Systems</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills</li><li>Good organizational and multitasking abilities</li></ul>&nbsp;Remuneration:&nbsp;An attractive package of remuneration depending on experience.&nbsp;Applications:Interested applicants should forward their CVs to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:recruitment@classic.com.cy">recruitment@classic.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting in the email subject the reference&nbsp;REC05/23&nbsp;or at the Classic Hotel at&nbsp;22-664006.All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
