The school seeks to maximise individual potential by providing rich and engaging educational experiences and challenges, supported by talented and trained staff, in a safe and caring environment and using modern pedagogical techniques and new technologies.&nbsp;The English School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following post:Spanish Teacher (maternity cover) starting November 2025&nbsp;Applicants must meet the following requirements:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Relevant Degree in Spanish Language or a combined degree from a recognised university•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Holder of a PGCE would be preferred•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent subject knowledge and experience in teaching KS3 – 5•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Teaching experience in a similar School would be considered an advantage•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Teaching experience in two or more of the Languages taught at the English School would be considered an advantage•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent spoken and written command of the English Language&nbsp;Full details of the posts and an application Form can be downloaded from the School’s website: www.englishschool.ac.cyCompleted applications and a letter of application ONLY to be submitted electronically via the employment online form, which can be found on the School’s websiteFor any queries, please contact the Human Resources Manager on 22 799 515Closing date for completed applications to reach the School by 12.00 noon, Sunday 18th May 2025
