Summary:The Executive Housekeeper oversees all aspects of the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry (where applicable), and recreation/health club facilities. The role ensures a consistently high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and service in line with brand and operational standards. As part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, we embody a distinctive character and personalized service, creating authentic and memorable experiences for every guest.This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our next chapter and shape the guest experience in one of the island’s most iconic hospitality settings.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner</li><li>Supervises the property general cleaning schedule.</li><li>Ensures guestrooms, public space and employee areas are cleaned according to operating standards.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.</li><li>Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms, public areas, employee work and locker areas, storage areas, recreation areas, laundry areas, garage and grounds.</li><li>Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.</li><li>Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.</li><li>Supervises daily housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.</li><li>Assists in the ordering of guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.</li><li>Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.</li><li>Participates in the management of the department’s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.</li><li>Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field/specialisation in Housekeeping Management is considered an advantage</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 3 years in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel</li><li>Prior experience with hotel pre-opening projects is preferred</li><li>Background in Marriott brand standards and operations is highly valued</li><li>Solid experience with Opera or other Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)</li><li>Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken</li><li>Outstanding communication and organizational skills</li><li>Proven ability to drive change, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency</li><li>Strong technical knowledge related to housekeeping operations and hotel systems</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, team management, and staff development abilities</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction</li></ul>How to Apply Please submit your CV outlining your interest and suitability for the role to <a href="mailto:careers@thelandmarknicosia.com">careers@thelandmarknicosia.com</a>, with subject: “Executive Housekeeper” by 31/05/2025.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thank you for considering this opportunity and for taking the time to apply.&nbsp;While we appreciate all applications, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
