Afternoon Primary Coordinator – Primary School The Island Private School of Limassol, Cyprus Academic Year: 2025–2026 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00–18:00&nbsp;The Island Private School of Limassol is seeking a dedicated and responsible Afternoon Primary Coordinator to join our Primary School team for the 2025–2026 academic year.As our school continues to grow and plan for an innovative new campus on a stunning 50,000 m² site, this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, international environment and contribute to a community dedicated to holistic, high-quality education.&nbsp;Team Leadership and Development<ul><li>Lead and supervise the Primary Afternoon Team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.</li><li>Conduct weekly team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan activities.</li><li>Provide regular feedback and support to team members, ensuring they can perform their roles effectively.</li><li>Identify training needs and opportunities for team development.</li></ul>Student Wellbeing and Behavior Management<ul><li>Monitor and oversee student behavior to ensure a safe and supportive environment.</li><li>Address behavior issues promptly and in accordance with the school’s Behavior Policy, promoting respect and inclusivity.</li><li>Act as a role model, encouraging positive interactions and engagement among students.</li></ul>Programme Operations<ul><li>Ensure the smooth running of the Afternoon Programme, including adherence to schedules and activity plans.</li><li>Collaborate with the Head of Extracurricular Programmes to contribute into development and implementation of engaging activities for students.</li><li>Maintain accurate records related to attendance, incidents, and feedback as required.</li><li>Be responsible for late release of the students after 18.00 making sure parents are informed that they are late for pick up.&nbsp;</li><li>Cover absent afternoon facilitators and/or organize covers for the absent afternoon facilitators and teachers.&nbsp;</li></ul>Health and Safety<ul><li>Ensure all activities comply with school policies and safety standards.</li><li>Respond to emergencies and manage incidents effectively, following established procedures.&nbsp;</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in educational or recreational settings (e.g. after-school programs, camps, enrichment activities).</li><li>&nbsp;</li><li>At least intermediate English proficiency; additional languages are a plus. &nbsp;</li><li>International mindset and comfort in a multicultural environment.</li><li>Compassionate, attentive, and supportive in facilitating children's learning and development.</li><li>EU citizens or candidates with a valid Cyprus Yellow Slip (right to work in Cyprus) are welcome to apply.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>A unique opportunity to grow professionally within a fast-developing, polysystemic international school.</li><li>Competitive remuneration based on qualifications and experience.</li><li>A modern, collaborative, and forward-thinking work environment.</li><li>Referral program incentives.</li><li>Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.</li></ul>Recruitment Process<ul><li>Online Interview with the Head of Extracurricular Program and the Employee Success Manager (approx. 15 minutes).</li><li>Trial Hour On-Site (60–90 minutes).</li><li>Final Interview with the Principal of the Primary School (approx. 15 minutes). &nbsp;</li></ul>Apply now to become part of a warm, progressive, and inspiring educational team that’s shaping the future of international education in Cyprus.Safeguarding: At The Island Private School of Limassol, we follow safer recruitment practices and we are committed to the Safeguarding of our students.
