Learn about your roleYou will be responsible for the maintenance and deployment of our systems and participate in both Operational and Project-related activities.You should have experience with CI and CD, including automating the building, deploying and testing of systems in both Windows and Linux environments.Ideally you should have hands-on experience with server configuration management, infrastructure as code and be able to provision servers from scratch.&nbsp;&nbsp;Main activities and responsibilities<ul><li>Monitoring Production systems, performing support, troubleshooting, and escalation.</li><li>Deployments to production systems ensuring no downtime for clients as well as providing updates to deployment procedures in a variety of projects.</li><li>Working with development and QA teams to help build and maintain our CI/CD Pipeline.</li><li>Development and maintenance of configuration management to provision new servers or provide updates to existing infrastructure.</li><li>Providing input on stability, scalability and security of the environment and support to developers when needed.</li><li>Administration of multiple Linux CentOS servers and configurations.</li><li>Responsibility for the availability of servers across products and services including proactive monitoring of systems.</li><li>Supporting web servers and web applications.</li><li>Performing updates and maintenance for Production and Pre-Production infrastructure.</li><li>Operations Team rota participation.</li></ul>Key requirements<ul><li>Practical experience troubleshooting production issues and working with different teams to understand and resolve problems and minimize impact on clients.</li><li>Practical experience deploying projects to staging or production environments.</li><li>Experience with Code as Infrastructure practices and development.</li><li>Comprehensive experience in Linux based server administration, preferably CentOS, including strong command of terminal and shell scripting.</li><li>Comprehensive experience in LEMP and MERN stack configuration in a load-balanced, distributed environment.</li><li>2+ years working as a Linux Sysadmin in the sphere of web-based applications and webserver management would be highly valuable.</li><li>Practical experience in server configuration practices and technologies (Puppet, Ansible) including building and monitoring production servers.</li><li>Experience in high availability, high traffic configurations.</li><li>Experience with Memcached / Redis configuration.</li><li>Firm understanding of concepts such as caching, proxying, content distribution, WebSockets, remote synchronization, load balancing and persistent backups.</li><li>Solid knowledge of version control tools (GitHub).</li><li>Solid knowledge of puppet, Ansible</li><li>Familiar with Disaster Recovery concepts and procedures.</li><li>Solid knowledge of Windows servers’ administration.</li></ul>What you’ll enjoy<ul><li>Competitive remuneration</li><li>Provident fund</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Discretionary yearly performance bonus</li><li>Professional development and learning&nbsp;opportunities</li><li>Friendly and dynamic work environment</li><li>21 days of annual leave which increases every two years (capped at 24 days)</li><li>Weekly lunches, weekly massages, monthly team outings and quarterly company building activities</li><li>Strong culture promoting work-life balance and flexibility</li><li>Fresh fruits, snacks, coffee, sodas at the office and healthy ice cream during the summer</li><li>Hybrid&nbsp;working and flexi time</li></ul>Lastly, meet easyMarkets&nbsp;easyMarkets is a leading global financial services provider, offering innovative and user-friendly trading solutions to clients worldwide.
