On behalf of our client,&nbsp;a leading energy infrastructure company, we are seeking a driven and commercially oriented&nbsp;Terminal Operator&nbsp;to join their growing team at&nbsp;Vassiliko, Cyprus. &nbsp;Terminal Operator – Ref. 5936/TO/ESS/CY Role Overview: Terminal Operators are responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of terminal equipment and systems. Working on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, they support product storage and manage the loading and transfer of petroleum products, ensuring the terminal runs smoothly and in compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate, oversee, and control terminal systems such as storage tanks, pipelines, pumps, and valves.</li><li>Carry out the secure and effective transfer of petroleum products to and from trucks, vessels, and pipeline networks.</li><li>Conduct routine checks and basic upkeep to maintain equipment performance and reliability.</li><li>Supervise safety mechanisms and take immediate action in case of incidents, following established protocols.</li><li>Maintain thorough and up-to-date logs of operational activities, including inventory levels, system status, and safety inspections.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate day-to-day operations and resolve any operational challenges.</li><li>Follow all established safety, health, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Technical Diploma or secondary school certificate required. Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline is advantageous but not necessary.</li><li>Vocational training or safety-related certifications are considered a plus.</li><li>Previous experience in hands-on, manual, and technical roles is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience in terminal operations, oil &amp; gas, logistics, or industrial environments is a strong asset.</li><li>Familiarity with product handling, loading/unloading, and basic equipment maintenance is advantageous.</li><li>Comfortable with control systems, mechanical equipment, and operational protocols.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Safety-conscious with a proactive attitude towards maintaining a zero-incident environment.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and accountable.</li><li>Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at times in confined spaces or at heights (PPE and full safety training provided).</li></ul>Benefits: The company offers a competitive salary along with a shift allowance and a performance-based annual bonus.
