CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established independent International Classification Society for sea going vessels and other marine structures, we are seeking to recruit a Marine Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Marine Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for monitoring the port state control inspections of the fleet, as well as monitoring the transfer of the certification department, and instructing and following up surveys to be carried out by field surveyors. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Marine Engineering, Naval Architect, or similar, who possess previous experience in ship surveying and audits. Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Review the port state control inspection regime and inform relevant parties.</li><li>Calculate the performance of port state control inspections.</li><li>Execute surveys/audits reviews in an efficient, unbiased way.</li><li>Monitor the Transfer of Certification Department.</li><li>Provide company’s fleet and clients any support needed.</li><li>Release instructions to surveyors/auditors.</li><li>Prompt and accurate reporting.</li><li>Use of correct issue of controlled documents and reference material.</li><li>Correct and accurate identification of all documents received or produced.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Field and/or Master Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar.</li><li>Previous work experience in ship surveying and audits.</li><li>Proficiency in the English language.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively.</li><li>Strong organizational skills.</li><li>Planning skills, with the ability to prioritize deadlines.</li><li>Computer literate.</li></ul> &nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG8363.
