You will play a key role in managing and overseeing the accounting functions within our growing company, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and providing valuable reports to senior leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is ready to take on a leadership role in our expanding operations.&nbsp;&nbsp;Here's What You’ll Be Doing:As the Senior Accountant, you’ll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and compliance with regulations. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Maintaining accurate records of cash receipts and ensuring timely bank deposits.</li><li>Preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with local tax regulations.</li><li>Providing financial reports and updates to the CEO and Board of Directors.</li><li>Collaborating with the CFO, CEO, auditors, and tax consultants on financial matters.</li><li>Supervising and mentoring junior accountants to ensure accurate accounting practices.</li><li>Managing client and debtor relationships regarding outstanding balances and payment collection.</li><li>Reconciling creditor accounts, bank accounts, and cash flows.</li><li>Overseeing tax-related duties, including direct taxes (Income Tax, SDC, Corporate Tax, GHS, Temporary Tax).</li><li>Managing social insurance payments and ensuring compliance with regulations.</li><li>Reviewing payroll data from external payroll teams and processing payments.</li><li>Ensuring the accurate execution of weekly payments.</li><li>Overseeing cash registers and ensuring proper accounting practices in stores.</li><li>Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.</li></ul>&nbsp;You Need These Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role within a corporate environment.</li><li>Strong proficiency in computerized accounting software; prior experience in ODOO is preferred.</li><li>BA in Accounting and/or LCCI Higher.</li><li>ACCA&nbsp;qualification is a plus.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, including VAT,&nbsp;Social&nbsp;Insurance, and&nbsp;Direct tax.</li><li>Excellent fluency in both Greek and English (verbal and written).</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.</li><li>Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>High attention to detail in financial reporting.</li></ul>&nbsp;It Would Be Nice If...<ul><li>You are familiar with accounting best practices in retail or fashion industries.</li><li>You are proactive, dynamic, and solutions oriented.</li><li>You have leadership qualities and the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.</li></ul>&nbsp;What’s In It For You?<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience.</li><li>Career growth opportunities within&nbsp;GETO&nbsp;Group Cyprus.</li><li>A dynamic and collaborative team environment.</li><li>Work in a company that’s expanding across Cyprus and the MENA region.</li><li>Be part of an international, diverse team that values your contributions.</li></ul>&nbsp;Join Us!Ready to be part of&nbsp;GETO Group Cyprus and contribute to our exciting expansion?
