AMARA, 5-star Hotel, in Limassol Cyprus is seeking to recruit a Stores Labourer.&nbsp;At AMARA we consider our people as the most valuable asset, which is why we only hire professionals who are passionate, enthusiastic and willing to grow.We foster a team culture which thrives on challenges and always aims to provide our guests excellence in service, in an environment of tranquillity, well-being and hospitality at its best, where our people feel proud to belong.&nbsp;We offer opportunities for future advancement and skill development through continuous training programmes, while at the same time encouraging initiatives and rewarding results.&nbsp;PURPOSE OF POSITION&nbsp;The Stores Labourer will requisition goods through the Purchasing Manager and will organise the store-rooms, in cooperation/absence of the Storekeeper A or B, maintaining the rules of food safety and hygiene, and serving the needs of the Hotel, in the most efficient and effective manner; the Stores Labourer will also be pro-active in maintaining and/or improving Hotel profitability in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standards.&nbsp;KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES&nbsp;-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Execute all day-to-day storeroom operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards, coordinating resources to ensure that all possible issues are efficiently resolved,-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure that their working times, grooming, clothing, actions, duties and opening &amp; closing duties, and other before, during and after preparations, are completed in accordance with the pre-set procedures,-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Demonstrate thorough knowledge and ability in: the execution of all correct standards, the correct use of all storeroom services, methods, procedures and practices, their required daily work, the etiquette while dealing with people (internal &amp; external of the Hotel), all facilities and services, all products, packages and prices; monitor and strive for continuous improvement at all times,-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Preserve excellent levels of internal service with both Hotel employees and exteriors visitors/sup- pliers/clients/etc; sense, identify and anticipate their needs; quickly respond to maximum satisfaction; seek/action/learn from feedback, and report issues upward and downward,&nbsp;QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS<ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent,</li><li>Minimum 1 year of previous experience</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written),</li><li>Active listening skills,</li><li>Must speak, read, and write Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages (Russian, etc.) will be considered an additional advantage.</li></ul>&nbsp;FAVORABLE CHARACTERISTICS<ul><li>Able to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members,</li><li>Able to create excellent rapport and working relationships with people,</li><li>Extremely proactive, flexible, adaptable, strong team player, responsible and accountable,</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress and stay calm under pressure,</li><li>Be immaculate in personal appearance,</li><li>Must possess a positive attitude, pleasant and friendly personality, fair, reliable and polite.</li></ul>BENEFITS:Attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experiencePlease send your cv at <a href="mailto:evi@amarahotel.com">evi@amarahotel.com</a> by 23 August 2025.&nbsp;&nbsp;
