Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position – preferably with Restaurants’ background</li><li>Degree in Culinary Arts will be considered an advantage</li><li>Excellent knowledge of English and Greek Language</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure</li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills</li><li>Creative and detail - oriented</li><li>Staying current with local and international trends</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed</li><li>Computer skills including good knowledge of MS Word and Excel</li><li>Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the relevant papers to work to Cyprus</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Duties:<ul><li>Under the direction of the Executive Chef, works, oversees and directs all aspects of the Food Production of all the restaurants and events of Village Square.</li><li>Assists the developing and maintaining up-dated operations manuals for all Food Production and Stewarding sections.</li><li>Conducts daily briefings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal result.</li><li>Assists the Executive Chef in determining the minimum and maximum stocks of all food, material and equipment.</li><li>Keeps the recipes standards as shown by the Executive Chef </li><li>Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.</li><li>Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance</li><li>Handle any kitchen emergencies and troubleshoot when necessary</li><li>In the absence of the Executive Chef, takes full responsibility of all daily operations</li><li>Comply with and enforce Health and Safety regulations</li><li>Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues and customers</li></ul>A competitive package will be offered to the successful candidate including 13th and 14th salary, health insurance options, meals, internal company special offers, permanent employment with career growth opportunities, provident fund after the completion of the probation period and other benefits.
