CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and respected company operating in the Online Sports Betting industry, we are seeking to recruit a Compliance Assistant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Working closely with the Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant gambling regulations and compliance standards. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Law or another relevant field, who possess a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a compliance focused role. Any previous experience working in Online Gaming or Gambling will be considered a significant advantage, but not essential.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Monitoring and analyzing regulatory updates, staying informed about changes in betting regulations and identifying potential areas of impact for the company.</li><li>Preparing and maintaining compliance documentation, assisting with the creation and upkeep of policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance.</li><li>Assisting in conducting compliance audits and reviews, assisting the AMLCO in mitigating potential compliance risks through regular audits and reviews of internal processes and controls.</li><li>Supporting investigations and complaints, assisting with investigating potential compliance breaches and responding to customer complaints related to compliance issues.</li><li>Liaising with regulatory authorities, assist the AMLCO in gathering evidence needed for communication with relevant regulatory authorities and providing any necessary information or reports.</li><li>Contributing to the development and implementation of compliance training programs, assist the AMLCO in training the staff on compliance requirements and best practices.</li><li>Assist and manage transaction monitoring systems to identify suspicious activity, potential fraud, and money laundering risks.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>An academic background in Law or any other relevant field is desirable.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in a compliance focused role is essential.</li><li>Any previous experience working in Online Gaming or Gambling will be considered a significant advantage, but not essential.</li><li>Strong understanding of relevant betting regulations in Cyprus and the European Union.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office applications.</li></ul>To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG7387.
