The Go-Kart Mechanics are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of go-karts at our facility. This role requires technical expertise in small engine repair, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety is mandatory. The ideal candidate will ensure all karts are in top condition for guest enjoyment.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;Maintenance &amp; Repairs:&nbsp;Perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and conduct repairs on all go-karts to ensure safety and optimal performance Safety Compliance:&nbsp;Ensure all karts meet safety regulations, conduct inspections, and maintain maintenance records. Troubleshooting:&nbsp;Identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime. Inventory Management:&nbsp;Track and restock necessary parts, tools, and supplies for repairs. Record Keeping:&nbsp;Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and performance reports in our software database. (Training will be provided) Continuous Improvement:&nbsp;Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices for kart maintenance and safety. Qualifications &amp; Requirements:Due to safety and operational requirements, candidates must be at least 16 years old to be considered for this position.<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical certification in small engine repair a plus.</li><li>Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with go-karts, small engines, or motorsports equipment.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude&nbsp;and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations&nbsp;and best practices related to kart maintenance.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and customer service mindset.</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in&nbsp;varying weather conditions, loud noise levels, and physically demanding tasks.</li><li>A passion for motorsports and kart racing is a MUST!</li></ul> Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)</li><li>Employee discounts on racing experiences</li><li>Fun, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment in the motorsports industry</li></ul> Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
