The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the effective coordination and execution of events from planning through to post-event wrap-up. This role involves managing logistics, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring every event aligns with the company’s brand and objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of delivering high-quality events that drive engagement and visibility.&nbsp;Role &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Update and maintain the annual event calendar.</li><li>Organize and execute various events including conferences, wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, trade shows, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions.</li><li>Source, liaise with, and manage venues, event contractors, and external suppliers.</li><li>Hire, coordinate, and manage event staff (e.g., security, setup teams, ushers, concession workers).</li><li>Handle all event logistics including signage, food, staffing, and on-site coordination.</li><li>Contribute creative ideas and strategic input for event themes and execution.</li><li>Arrange for the creation and distribution of marketing and promotional materials in collaboration with marketing team.</li><li>Monitor and measure event performance, producing reports and insights.</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure events align with the company’s brand and communication strategy.</li><li>Keep current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices.</li><li>Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Events Supervisor or management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:Qualifications &amp; Education<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in communications, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in event planning and coordination.</li><li>Experience organizing a variety of event types (corporate, promotional, B2B, etc.).</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken); multilingual ability is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and relevant event/project tools.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Excellent organizational and planning abilities with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.</li><li>Confident and persuasive negotiator with vendor and partner management skill.</li><li>Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.</li><li>Analytical thinker with sound numerical skills for budgeting and reporting.</li><li>Creative and adaptable with a strong sense of initiative.</li><li>High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.</li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of event industry standards and health &amp; safety practices.</li></ul>Reporting: This position reports directly to the Events Supervisor.&nbsp;Benefits: Join Ayia Napa Marina and enjoy a competitive remuneration package tailored to your experience, including Medical Insurance upon completion of probation.
