The Role:On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated professional for the position of Head of Dealing, to be based in their office in Nicosia.&nbsp;Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead and manage the Dealing Desk team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.</li><li>Oversee daily trading and execution of orders in accordance with company policies and regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Ensure best execution practices are followed for all client trades.</li><li>Monitor market conditions, news, and trends to support decision-making and risk management.</li><li>Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure adherence to internal controls and external regulations.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with liquidity providers, brokers, and other counterparties.</li><li>Produce and review regular reports on trading activity, performance, and risk exposure.</li><li>Contribute to the development of trading systems, processes, and tools to improve efficiency.</li><li>Act as a point of escalation for dealing-related issues.</li><li>Ensure the dealing function complies with MiFID II, ESMA, CySEC, or other relevant regulations.</li><li>Ensure integrity and accuracy of trade execution data used in regulatory transaction reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFIR).</li><li>Implement and monitor best execution standards in accordance with RTS 27/28, including price slippage, latency, execution venue analysis, and order routing logic.</li><li>Manage execution routing settings, bridge configuration, and liquidity provider mapping to ensure optimal pricing and trade execution.</li><li>Contribute to the Internal Operations Manual by documenting execution procedures, escalation processes, and dealing desk controls</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).</li><li>Proven experience in a dealing desk or trading environment, with at least [3+] years in a managerial/supervisory role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and execution systems.</li><li>In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, ESMA, CySEC).</li><li>Holder of the CySEC’s Advanced Certificate</li><li>Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>&nbsp;Strong leadership and team management capabilities.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>&nbsp;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>&nbsp;Proficiency in relevant trading software and platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5).</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV to <a href="mailto:hr@fincap.com">hr@fincap.com</a> .&nbsp;All applicants will be treated with strict confidentiality.
