Iacovou Group seeks to recruit an experienced and high caliber professional for the position of&nbsp;Project Engineer, for its Operations both in Cyprus and Abroad.&nbsp;Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient, timely, cost and quality effective execution of a project or a component of a project under the directions of the Project Manager.<ul><li>Coordinates the project site activities and ensures the project’s smooth operations in all respects.</li><li>Liaise with the client stakeholders, the project consultants and the project team members, including the site foreman, land and quantity surveyors, operators and workers</li><li>Checks drawings and quantities in coordination with the Procurement and Estimating units and ensures that the calculations are accurate for the work</li><li>Assists with the selection and requisition of materials in coordination with the Procurement and Estimating units and agree on the price of the items according to the project budget/costings</li><li>Responsible for communicating and arranging for the necessary plant, material and labor requirements</li><li>Responsible for the overall site supervision of the works and execution of the project in line with the project timeline, cost and key milestones</li><li>Prepares schedules of works and enquiries for procurement of materials and subcontractors, where required</li><li>Monitors daily work productions, material stocks and carries out materials reconciliations in coordination with the Plant and the storekeeper</li><li>Prepares site progress report and submits it to the Project Manager as required</li><li>Controls, and coordinates the works of subcontractors and reports on their progress and or trends for problems/delays.</li><li>Maintains accurate records for QA and QC</li><li>Responsible for Waste Management according to the quality controls and health, safety, security and environmental policies and procedures</li><li>Implements and promotes Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management policies and procedures.</li><li>Develops and maintains an understanding of the contract documents, appropriate codes, standards and specifications</li><li>Ensures the implementation of the procedures detailed in the project quality plans and method&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>At least 10 years of relevant experience</li><li>Experience in Construction road works and Technical projects, will be considered as advantage</li><li>Good knowledge of planning software such as Primavera and/or MS Project</li><li>Planning and organizing skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Project management skills</li><li>Analytical and numerical skills</li><li>Problem solving and decision-making skills</li><li>Civil Engineering specific knowledge</li><li>Available to work in our Operations abroad</li><li>Very good knowledge of Greek and English language</li></ul>Remuneration:Attractive and competitive remuneration package, including benefits, will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please&nbsp;send your cv at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:recruitment@iacovougroup.com">recruitment@iacovougroup.com</a>&nbsp;until the 23rd November 2025.&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
