Amathus Corporation Ltd, a leading force in Cyprus’ travel and tourism industry, is looking to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounts Department in Nicosia.&nbsp;Main Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate and complete accounting books and records</li><li>Issue sales invoices and input purchase invoices</li><li>Prepare weekly income and expenses reports</li><li>Perform monthly reconciliations (Bank, Visa, Petty Cash, Intercompany, Debtors, Creditors)</li><li>Assist with year-end balance agreements</li><li>Ensure internal and external deadlines are consistently met</li><li>Carry out any other accounting-related duties as required</li></ul>Candidate Profile<ul><li>Diploma or University Degree in Accounting or a related field</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role</li><li>Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards</li><li>Familiarity with VAT and Taxation legislation (VIES/INTRASTAT)</li><li>Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel</li><li>Excellent command of Greek and fluency in English (both written and spoken)</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Attractive remuneration package based on experience</li><li>Five-day work week (Monday to Friday)</li><li>Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00</li><li>21 days of annual leave, plus public holidays</li><li>Friendly working environment</li></ul>&nbsp;Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter by email to <a href="mailto:aioannou@amathus.com">aioannou@amathus.com</a>titled “For the position of Accountant”.&nbsp;We look forward to welcoming a new member to our team!&nbsp;
