Cypurs Serbellas Boutique Hotel Maintenance Technician Department: Engineering / Maintenance&nbsp; Reports To: Chief Engineer / Maintenance Manager&nbsp; &nbsp;Job Summary:&nbsp; The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This includes electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general maintenance work in accordance with hotel standards and safety regulations.&nbsp; &nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house).</li><li>Inspect and maintain electrical systems, lighting, outlets, and wiring. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, HVAC systems, and water heaters. </li><li>Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules. </li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, health, and quality standards.</li><li>Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory. </li><li>Record and report maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. </li><li>Support special projects and renovation work when needed. </li><li>Coordinate with housekeeping and front office to minimize guest disturbance during maintenance.</li><li>Assist contractors and external service providers when required.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:&nbsp;<ul><li>Technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field. </li><li>Previous experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environment.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems. </li><li>Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Basic computer literacy (for maintenance logs and reports). </li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Physically fit and able to lift, climb, or work in confined spaces. </li><li>Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 25 kg.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.</li></ul> Please send your CV to <a href="mailto:info@serbellashotel.com">info@serbellashotel.com</a> to apply for this position.
