Interpreters&nbsp;The <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="http://www.unic.ac.cy">University of Nicosia (UNIC)</a> is a leading research university ranked in the Top 501-600 in the 2025 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.&nbsp;UNIC Health, supporting the strategic growth of its Medical and Veterinary Schools, seeks Interpreters based in Limassol to join its team under a services agreement.&nbsp;The successful candidates will provide their services on an ad-hoc basis and will act as Interpreters to groups of Medical students. Throughout their Medical training, our students have clinical placements at public and private hospitals/clinics. For these placements, we use Interpreters to assist our students in communicating with patients.&nbsp;Main Responsibilities:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist students with taking patient histories·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Interpret for non-English speaking patients·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Complete daily logbook·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proficient understanding of cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Honour ethical codes to ensure sensitive and confidential information remains secure and protected&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An undergraduate degree·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fluent in both Greek and English·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Availability to work from Monday to Friday from 08:30-13:30&nbsp;Remuneration: Fixed rate per hour&nbsp;The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in the European Union/ European Economic Area.&nbsp;Send your CV and cover letter to <a href="mailto:hr@med.unic.ac.cy">hr@med.unic.ac.cy</a>, indicating that you are applying for the Interpreter Limassol position (Services Agreement) with reference number S26INT02 in the subject line of your email by Friday, 31st October 2025.&nbsp;Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for immediate interviews.
