Cyprus Public Transport is now seeking to recruit:Junior Legal CounselThe RoleCyprus Public Transport is seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to support the Company’s legal and compliance activities, including contract review, corporate filings, and day-to-day legal matters.&nbsp;Key Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements (e.g. supply agreements, lease agreements, MoUs).</li><li>Monitoring contract renewals and maintaining an up-to-date contracts register.</li><li>Preparing and submitting statutory filings through the Cyprus Registrar of Companies portal.</li><li>Handling corporate changes (directors, share capital, registered office, etc.).</li><li>Ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and maintaining corporate records.</li><li>Managing documentation relating to vehicle transfers.</li><li>Liaising with relevant authorities (e.g. Department of Road Transport) and maintaining fleet-related records.</li><li>Supporting day-to-day legal matters and conducting legal research.</li><li>Preparing corporate documents and legal correspondence.</li><li>Maintaining legal filing systems and liaising with external parties.</li><li>Assisting the Complaints Department in assessing customer complaints, identifying legal/regulatory risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal procedures.</li><li>Handling GDPR-related matters, including reviewing and maintaining privacy policies and internal data protection documentation.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>LLB degree from a recognised university.</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in a law firm.</li><li>Experience with filings at the Cyprus Registrar of Companies.</li><li>Strong knowledge of commercial, contract, corporate, and data protection Law.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a team-player attitude.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Attractive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications.</li><li>Provident Fund contribution after successful completion of 6 months of employment.</li><li>Private International Health Insurance.</li><li>Continuous training and development opportunities.</li><li>Career progression within a growing organisation.</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their application and upload their CV by clicking the link below: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://onlinerecruitment.exelsyslive.com/?c=9FC6EAC3-37D0-4724-9F9B-03B6CAAC6464&amp;v=JLC/CPT/0526">Apply for Junior Legal Counsel</a>&nbsp;All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
