CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding High Technology company which develops custom data solutions, including data integration and structuring services to clients around the world, we are seeking to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the infrastructure behind a high-scale, data-intensive platform. You will be responsible for ensuring systems are fast, reliable, scalable, and secure, supporting real-time processing of massive datasets and mission-critical workloads. Our client is seeking applicants with strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), as well as experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, medical insurance, flexible working hours, and hybrid working options.&nbsp;Key Duties/Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Design and manage scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across cloud environments.</li><li>Build and maintain infrastructure for high-throughput data pipelines and real-time systems.</li><li>Optimize compute, storage, and networking for performance and cost efficiency.</li><li>Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments.</li><li>Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).</li><li>Improve developer workflows and deployment velocity.</li><li>Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across all services.</li><li>Ensure high availability and uptime of critical systems.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve production issues under pressure.</li><li>Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance at scale.</li><li>Manage distributed systems handling large volumes of data.</li><li>Tune databases, caching layers, and compute workloads.</li><li>Implement best practices for infrastructure security and access control.</li><li>Manage secrets, credentials, and secure configurations.</li><li>Support compliance requirements related to data handling and infrastructure.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Skills/Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).</li><li>Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).</li><li>Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and security fundamentals.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.</li><li>Experience supporting data-intensive or distributed systems.</li><li>Familiarity with high-performance databases (e.g., ClickHouse, PostgreSQL).</li><li>Understanding of streaming systems or large-scale data processing is a plus.</li><li>Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).</li><li>Strong debugging and incident response skills.</li><li>Ability to manage uptime in high-pressure environments.</li></ul>&nbsp;Key Benefits:&nbsp;<ul><li>Attractive salary based on skills and experience.</li><li>13th salary.</li><li>Medical Insurance.</li><li>Hybrid working options.</li><li>Flexible working hours.</li></ul>&nbsp;To apply for this vacancy, please send your CV, along with any covering letter to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:jobs@careerfinders.com.cy">jobs@careerfinders.com.cy</a>&nbsp;quoting the reference number ERG9105.
