Trade Operations AnalystDepartment: BrokerageLocation: Nicosia, Cyprus (On-site / Standard office assignment)&nbsp;Nova Securities is a CySEC-regulated investment firm offering execution and clearing services in Global Equities, ETFs, Options, Futures, Fixed Income and Commodities, as well as providing Prime Brokerage and Custody services. We are looking for an analytical professional to optimize our daily trading operations by bridging deep financial knowledge with technical data tools.&nbsp;Responsibilities &amp; AccountabilityAs an integral part of our operations framework, you will:<ul><li>Execute and oversee daily trade lifecycle operations, from trade capture and confirmation to settlement and reconciliation.</li><li>Collaborate with Front-Office, Risk Management and Back-Office teams to identify, investigate and resolve trade-related issues and discrepancies.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial data analysis scripts using Python, and SQL to streamline reconciliations and operational reporting</li><li>Continuously audit existing workflows to identify strategic automation opportunities, then coordinate with technology partners to drive, test, and roll out improvements firm-wide.</li><li>Manage regulatory reporting and audit requests in conjunction with Compliance, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and safeguarding the firm's integrity.</li></ul>&nbsp;What knowledge and skills you bring:<ul><li>A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics , or a related quantitative discipline.</li><li>Proficiency in Python specifically for financial data analysis and SQL, combined with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li><li>A clear understanding of financial instruments, global trade lifecycles, and market conventions.</li><li>Familiarity with platforms such as Bloomberg, Euroclear, DTCC, or S&amp;P Global.</li><li>Previous professional or internship experience in trade support settlements, or financial data operations.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Analytical &amp; Problem-Solving Capabilities:This role requires high-level cognitive engagement, specifically:<ul><li>Applying deep analytical capacity to process large datasets and identify the root causes of complex financial discrepancies.</li><li>Continuously evaluating existing workflows to spot operational inefficiencies and translating those needs into scalable technical data solutions.</li><li>Prioritizing time-sensitive tasks effectively during high-volume market activity or critical settlement deadlines.</li></ul>&nbsp;How and where you will work:<ul><li>Operating within a highly collaborative team structure focused on shared operational goals and regulatory excellence.</li><li>Engaging in regular, professional cross-functional communication with internal stakeholders (traders, compliance, IT) and external partners (clients, custodians, counterparties).</li><li>Functioning as a collaborative team player who is equally effective working independently, managing multiple priorities and strict settlement deadlines with composure and professionalism.</li><li>Executing tasks with a high degree of accuracy and strict attention to detail to safeguard the firm's integrity.</li><li>Working in a supportive standard office environment based in Nicosia, Cyprus.</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Offer:<ul><li>The opportunity to work alongside a distinct team of highly skilled professionals who bring deep expertise and a shared commitment to excellence.</li><li>Broad, cross-functional exposure across settlements, reconciliations, reporting, and automation &nbsp;accelerating your development as an all-round operations professional.</li><li>A welcoming, accommodating environment where a people-first culture and high performance genuinely coexist.</li><li>A competitive compensation package commensurate with experience complemented by a structured benefits program designed to support your long-term financial security.</li><li>Leave policies that go beyond standard statutory requirements.</li></ul>&nbsp;If this opportunity resonates with you, we encourage you to apply.
