Health and Safety Officers

&nbsp;JOB PURPOSEThe Health &amp; Safety Officer oversees and manages quality management systems such as Health and Safety and any other quality system the company may decide to implement, ensuring their effective implementation.&nbsp;DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Develops, implements, monitors, and reviews of the hotel's quality management systems.</li><li>Ensures the alignment of the Integrated Management Systems with applicable standards and relevant legislation requirements.</li><li>Provide an overview of the processes necessary to obtain all hotel licenses within the required timeframe.</li><li>Facilitates the Health and Safety committee and serves as the liaison between employees and management for Health and Safety matters.</li><li>Assist the F&amp;B Department in implementing Food Safety procedures as per the Management System's requirements.</li><li>Prepares reports to aid management decisions.</li><li>Develops, implements, and oversees environmental strategies that advance sustainable development.</li><li>Integrates ESG principles into hotel operations and strategies.</li></ul>GENERAL<ul><li>Follow the Hotel’s internal operating regulations as per the Employee’s Handbook,</li><li>Follow the staff rotas in accordance with business levels; inform their superior should there be any problems with their scheduled working hours,</li><li>Maintain a good rapport and working relationship with all team members and suppliers,</li><li>Perform the duties with maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner,</li><li>Comply with Cyprus legislation and be conversant with and act in accordance with any such matters relating to their department,</li><li>Attend and contribute to all staff meetings/briefings and other related activities.</li></ul>
