It provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and primarily international clients.&nbsp;The firm is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised service while maintaining strong professional standards and a collaborative working culture. It has a growing client base and a supportive environment.&nbsp;They are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join its team in Nicosia.&nbsp;The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting day-to-day bookkeeping operations, and assisting with financial reporting and VAT-related tasks for a portfolio of clients.&nbsp;Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients</li><li>Record financial transactions, invoices, payments, and reconciliations</li><li>Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations</li><li>Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns</li><li>Maintain and update accounting records using accounting software and CaseWare</li><li>Laise with clients regarding accounting information and documentation requests</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards</li><li>Support the accounting and audit teams with ad-hoc duties where required&nbsp;</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting role (ideally 1-3 years)</li><li>Experience using any book-keeping software and CaseWare for financial statements preparation is essential</li><li>Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles</li><li>Experience preparing VAT returns and reconciliations</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel</li><li>Strong communication skills in English and Greek</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively&nbsp;</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Hybrid working model (2 days remote per week after probation)</li><li>Provident Fund</li><li>13th salary</li><li>Supportive and professional working environment</li><li>Opportunities for ongoing learning and career development</li><li>Collaborative and flexible company culture</li></ul>
