Evangelou Limited is a growing professional services firm based in Nicosia, Cyprus, providing audit, accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.As part of the continued expansion of our Audit Department, we are seeking a motivated and career-driven Auditor / Senior Auditor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to further develop their expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment.The RoleThe successful candidate will play an active role in the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to a portfolio of local and international clients. Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Managing and maintaining a portfolio of audit clients across various industries.</li><li>Planning, executing, and completing audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).</li><li>Preparing and reviewing audit working papers and documentation using Caseware.</li><li>Performing substantive and analytical audit procedures and assessing the accuracy and completeness of financial information.</li><li>Preparing tax computations and assisting with the preparation of tax returns.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with applicable professional standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality control procedures.</li><li>Liaising directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships.</li><li>Assisting in the supervision, mentoring, and development of junior team members, where appropriate.</li></ul>Candidate ProfileTo be successful in this role, you should possess:<ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>At least two years of relevant audit experience gained within a professional services firm.</li><li>ACCA and/or ACA qualification, either fully qualified or currently progressing towards qualification.</li><li>Excellent command of both Greek and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Very good knowledge of Caseware and audit methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.</li><li>A proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>What We OfferWe recognise that our people are our greatest asset and are committed to supporting their professional and personal development.
