Mitas Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our maintenance and service operations for power generation equipment, with a strong focus on diesel generators.&nbsp; The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, leadership skills, and commercial awareness to ensure the efficient operation of service activities while supporting business growth.This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage a team of technicians, schedule and oversee maintenance activities, diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues, and personally attend customer sites when required.&nbsp; The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in the field and in the office, capable of providing technical leadership while maintaining strong customer relationships.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;Technical &amp; Service Operations:<ul><li>Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for generators and related electrical systems.</li><li>Lead and support service technicians in troubleshooting, repairs, commissioning, and testing of power generation equipment.</li><li>Personally attend service calls and site visits when required to diagnose and resolve technical issues.</li><li>Perform advanced fault-finding on electrical, control, and generator systems.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentoring to service personnel and junior engineers.</li><li>Review service reports and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities.</li></ul>Team Leadership:<ul><li>Manage, coordinate, and motivate a team of technicians and engineers.</li><li>Allocate resources effectively to meet customer requirements and service schedules.</li><li>Monitor team performance and support training and professional development.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.</li></ul>Customer Relations &amp; Commercial Activities:<ul><li>Prepare technical and commercial quotations for maintenance contracts, repairs, upgrades, and new equipment.</li><li>Conduct site surveys and assess customer requirements to provide suitable technical solutions.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Identify opportunities for additional services, upgrades, and long-term maintenance agreements.</li></ul>Business Development:<ul><li>Actively seek and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.</li><li>Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.</li><li>Support sales activities by providing technical expertise and solution recommendations.</li><li>Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth within the power generation sector.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field would be considered an advantage BUT proven experience is as powerful.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in generator maintenance, power generation systems, or industrial electrical services.</li><li>Proven experience leading maintenance or service teams.</li><li>Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with generators, control panels, ATS systems, and electrical distribution equipment.</li><li>Experience preparing quotations, cost estimates, and service proposals.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.</li><li>Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package based on your experience.</li><li>Company vehicle for job responsibilities.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.</li><li>Dynamic work environment combining technical, managerial, and commercial responsibilities.</li></ul> To apply, please attach your CV to the following email: <a href="mailto:gm@mitasgroup.eu">gm@mitasgroup.eu</a> , with subject Electrical Engineer - “Your Name”.
